Saturday Evening

Hi All,

Not much new to report tonight, Dad is still doing well, he's sitting up, back in bed and having to learn to breathe easier, not worry about taking his medication on time and just relax and take it easy.

My mom, Bill, Frazier and Cassi are all here and we have spent the afternoon alternating hanging out with him, watching cooking shows on PBS and now playoff football. That's more us than him though! We'll be back tomorrow and hopefully he will be moved out of the ICU to a private room.

For those who were wondering, he is at the University of Colorado Hospital out in Aurora.

The big concern now is germs and infection so we all wear surgical masks while in the room and make sure to use plenty of antibiotic gel and I'd assume it will be much more of the same when he moves up to the transplant floor.

Thanks and good night!

Haverly, thank you for the continuous updates as it is appreciated. Tonight, we had a fabulous dining experience, in Arizona, and immediately thought that Dean & Bill should be with us as they would have enjoyed the incredible infusion of culinary native flavors. Soon we can experience the Arizona desert together...looking forward to seeing you very soon. Much love and thoughts! S & C

Dean,

It just so happened Larry L. was in Highline Friday when we all got the news and there was just a tremendous buzz that went through the district. We are all so happy for you and wishing you all the best!!!

Dearest Dean, I have been praying for you steadily since your last trip to Corpus and am over the moon that this huge event is now behind you! What a blessing to have the love of family and so many friends. You must get better so we can all go back to the Barbecue Man! : )

Love you,

Janis Jordan

Dean and Bill,
You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. You are truly blessed and we all are so grateful. We cannot wait for your next visit East. How does a lobster dinner on the lake sound? Along with some New England train rides too. Much love,
