Hi everyone,
I just got back to Dad's room after dinner wit Bill and a stop home to clean up a bit. He was alert when I walked in as the nurse was working with him, he answered a few questions of mine and squeezed my hand harder than he has been able to this week. All good signs in my book. The lights are off and hopefully he'll be able to get some sleep tonight.

What a long week it has been, and so much wonderful progress has been made. You must be exhausted. We hope you can now get some rest knowing Dean is resting easier and gaining strength.
