Wednesday Night

Hi All,

Dad is still having some significant issues. His blood count is down and while I don't understand the specifics, they are concerned enough to be giving him blood and plasma throughout the day. He is not complaining of any pain nor showing any signs of bleeding so they haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. He was getting a CAT Scan tonight which will hopefully pinpoint the problem area.

Dad had a rough day; he wants to be off the ventilator, is very emotional and is probably still pretty sleep deprived. We know he is in the best place he can be, even if he doesn't agree.

I haven't heard the results yet but will let you all know what's going on once we know.

Thanks
Haverly

Thank you for the update. We are still praying for you all. Sounds like you all must be exhausted. I am glad to hear about the CATScan. It is blessedly a painless procedure; I am sure Uncle Dean will benefit from it's results. We are awaiting the outcome with you. Give him our love and tell him we are sending hugs! Dear Bill, Linda, and Frasier:
We very much appreciate you taking the time to keep us all informed of Dean's progress. It has clearly been a tough time for you all, keeping vigil at Dean's bedside.
This is one of Susan's favorite poems, by Emily Dickinson:
' Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.'
We continue to keep Dean and each of you in our thoughts and prayers.
Much love,
Susan and Bill
