It's been over a week since Dean has experienced any type of medical crisis. He's getting stronger, his color is so much better. And today, he gets a "talking" trache tube. Now when he cusses us out, we'll know what he is saying! It really has been extremely frustrating for him and us. Haverly reads his lips very well. I don't at all, Frazier and Bill cope.
I asked Dean this morning if he understands what has happened to him. He shook his head "no." He is slowly becoming aware of all the machines and tubes.
Today is a sunny day in Colorado and a sunnier day in an intensive care room in Aurora! Linda

Hello Dean and Family,
You are right, today is an UP Day. We are praying for you daily and know that your recovery will be full and complete.
We constantly miss you from the "All Means All" work and are confident that your vibrant voice and presence will once again Bless us as we labor in the vineyard you love so dearly.
Rest well. Be strong. Remember each day is a good day.
Peace,
Larry

HELLO ALL,
UP has always been a good direction (even for the stock market). It is amazing how accustomed we have become to making the trip to this blog site part of our daily ritual. I hope you all know how much we appreciate the time and effort you are putting forth so we can be a part of the recovery process (even from afar). Who knows….maybe a book is in the future!
Please give Dean our love and let him know that our thoughts and best wishes are with him. I am glad I am not there in person because I am sure I could be easily manipulated into the water ritual. Hugs and Love to all of you ….:-} Sue and Muriel
wonderfull news !!!!!!! keep striving, stay healthy, and walk soon.
Great News... more prayers of healing coming your way, Dean!
Prayers for you all...

Greetings, all: Many thanks for your regular updates. And thanks and blessings to the entire Dean crew for your care. Clearly, it's tough watching someone you love have such challenges getting well . . . but it appears that you and the nurses and doctors and Dean are all helping Dean make progress. Hugs to All!

SO glad to hear that Uncle Dean has had a medically good week. What a tough journey for all of you, and yet the reward is going to be so amazing. Aaron and I talk about seeing Uncle Dean walk without oxygen or breathing hard, and we just get so excited. We pray for you guys always, and every improvement makes Aaron's time just that much easier. Our love to you all.
Strength, strength, & more strength... and many more days like this one, of progress and good cheer. Dear thoughts from Cambridge, MA to Dean and everyone in his magnificent crew.
