Hi Everyone,
Dad is still continuing to improve slowly. Again, health-wise he is getting a little better each day which is all we can ask for. Emotionally, he is cranky, wants food, wants to get up out of bed, and is still have trouble with seeing things due to the medicine. He is getting some real sleep now which is helping I'm sure, but it will just take time and that's not easy on him.
Mom and Bill will spend the afternoon with him so he'll have some company, although I doubt that they'll watch the big game.
Thanks again for everyone's wishes, I know as he feels better company will be appreciated but we are just taking it slow and making sure that we don't have any more set backs. We'll keep you posted!
Haverly

It has been a long road of recovery. We can only imagine the patience you must find to wait through each day.
We hope each day of this next week will bring Dean a bit closer to recovery.
Joe, Claire and Elizabeth
So glad that you are getting stronger. Crankiness is a good sign!!

Dear Dean and All,
I am happy to hear that you continue to overcome the obstacles that have come your way. Your feisty attitude is helpful - trust me, I just returned from visiting my mom who was hospitalized after experiencing some setbacks caused by a recent kidney surgery. The wonderful staff at her hospital told us that her attitude had a lot to do with her very fortunate recovery.
Hang in there, we're all sending lots of positive energy your way!
Love you,
Janice
Dear Haverly, Frazier, Linda, Bill, and of course Dean,
Thank you Haverly for your dedicated and faithful reporting about Dean's status. What wild ups and downs you have all been through! Our love and appreciation to you all for the time and energy you have expended being there for Dean. All the Goggins hope that the corner has indeed been turned. Blessings & love, Emmett, Judy, Molly, and Mike
