Bill just called and they have finished the procedure and are bringing Dad back to his room. They are all stunned b/c they drained about 1 and 1/2 liters of fluid from Dad's old lung (imagine a 2 Liter soda bottle!!). We still don't know what that was, where it is from or why it was happening which are all questions that need to be answered, but hopefully having that fluid gone will make him feel better.

Unbelievable what the body does - a liter and a half of fluid. There are so many unknowns and so many medical procedures. I wish it would be more simple for Dean and for you all too. It must be hard to have new downs when the ups are minute. Thinking of you all.
