Hi everyone,
A note to let you know that Dad was put back on the ventilator tonight as a precaution. While he slept last night, had some tubes removed this morning and even did some physical therapy, his lung is still producing way too much mucus for the doctors liking.
They had to do two bronchoscopies today to try and clear him out and unfortunately it just didn't work to their satisfaction.
The original cause of all these setbacks was a mucus plug unlodging over the weekend and causing him to stop breathing and go into cardiac arrest. The doctors are concerned that there might be a a similar occurrence which could be a huge problem.
Mom says his color looks good and his face is even a little fuller so hopefully this won't last too long. He is sedated for now so will be able to spend the night restfully.
As always when we know something we'll post it.
Thanks
Haverly

Love the picture of the Grandkids drawings on Dean's door. I'm sure there is no better medicine in the world.

Thank you for the updates. I am glad that there have been quite a few improvements! That is good news even with Dean on the ventilator again. You all are still in my prayers and to echo the other commentors, the artwork is beautiful!
Much Love, Felicia
