All Quiet on the Dean Front

I just realized that we haven't written since Wednesday. Our days have been filled with exercise and telling Dean, "No, you can't have anything to drink. Sorry." Today I worked with him on his physical therapy. He is supposed to bend his knee and lift his leg. If you can image, he's only lifting his leg about 8 inches. We did this 5 times for each leg and then he slept for one hour! That is how depleted his strength is.

Bill has been talking with Dean's doctors about next steps. Dean is too well for ICU and too weak for the rehab floor (he needs to be able to walk). So what is the next move? We will keep you updated as we learn, "what's next."

Hope you enjoy your week end. Linda and Bill

Thanks for the post. It's hard to imagine Dean like this. He is so fortunate to have you in his life to help him find the motivation to recovery.

Take care.
